HYBRIDFLOOR

Hybridfloor

Alternative flooring system based on wood & foam panels

Due to the alu edge profiles it´s suitable for Schnierle alu floor and also rail-in honeycomb systems

The floor has several very impressive features:

Weight Reduction (same weight as honey comb, minor weight as alu spacers)

Easy Workability (even with a simple jigsaw)

Better Thermal Insulation

Cover strips can be screwed onto the vehicle floor (wood panel)

It can be easily shaped to fit in all common vehicle models

TAF4 WITH ISOFIX

TAF4 Isofix

Additional feature for the well-known TAF 4 seat

Seat is mainly used for Ambulances, Passenger Transportation, as Emergency Seat or in combination with our sliding bridge. The seat is foldable, the backrest inclineable and it is available with turning device

The new feature:  we have fitted the seat with Isofix adapter (left and right) and top tether function. Advantage in particular for Ambulances: in case of an emergency the seat provides safe transport of children as an additional passenger.

WAV SEAT – SLIM & COMFORTABLE

WavSeat

New slim & comfortable WAV seat (Wheelchair-Accessible-Vehicle), in the video exemplary on a wheel arch-console

The specialty: It has a very slim seat padding, when folded only with a thickness of around 130mm We do not exceed 150mm! It´s an ideal solution for cars with lowered floor

Due to the thin padding the safety belt is not integrated in the backrest but it works also with separate safety belts or you can use a separate belt pillar as seen here in the video

The seat is slim padded, but a supporting suspension provides a good level of seating comfort anyway. The seat has also a removable headrest.

OCCUPANT RESTRAINT SYSTEM / combination ELR/ALR function

OccupantRestraint

New Occupant Restraint System with optimal mobility for the wheelchair passenger and at the same time high support function for passengers with reduced stability of the upper body.

Two functions are combined in one retractor: ELR (emergency locking retractor) & ALR (automatic locking retractor).

By pulling out the belt webbing from the retractor to full (you hear a rattling noise) the retractor switches after a defined deceleration time from ELR function to the ALR function.

Both functions combine the features full mobility of upper body, comfort when needed but also very safe transport for instable passengers, in particular when driving curves.

The key benefit: the passenger is always safe with the ALR function as this function doesn't need a deceleration impulse (Low G) to block.

WHEELCHAIR POSITION DETECTION IN VEHICLES

WheelchairPositionSensor

Innovative solution to avoid wrong positioning of wheelchair passengers in the vehicle.

The correct position of the wheelchair can be defined with help of a line laser inside the vehicle chassis ( which mounted on a slim roof rail).

The Laser displays the maximum front and rear point where to place the wheelchair in the vehicle by keeping the recommended distance between shoulder of the passenger and the anchorage point of the shoulder belt (shoulder optimal 600mm ahead (max. 1000mm) of the anchorage point of the belt).

The green laser in front shows the border of the optimal position/distance of the shoulder to the shoulder belt anchorage point. The red line shows the maximum outer point where to place the wheelchair. Never place the wheelchair behind the red line.

Further advantage: No limited field of view in the vehicle by adhesive tapes, stickers or labels on the windows or chassis etc.

SCHNIERLE WIRELESS SEAT SENSOR

WirelessSeatSensor

We refer to the EU regulation ECE R16 and the regulation DIN 1798 which require very recently seat recognition for vehicle passengers (as just applied in ambulances).

According to ECE R16 there is a transition period of 2 years granted for manufacturers and converters to transpose this regulation.

We can provide a new wireless seat sensor, suitable for removable seats. Both an optical and acoustic signal is given. The driver gets an optical and acoustic signal for all passenger seats.

Schnierle works also on a solution for seats with wire connection by using a wireless transmitter to send a signal to the receiver. In this case only an acoustic signal would be given.

We are also working out a system with a wireless transmitter sending both the acoustic and optical signal to a receiver which can then transmit the signal by wire to an existing display.
